February 1: Black History Month
Our Lansing Home celebrates Black History Month.
In 2025 we were participants at the annual Black Business Mixer, hosted by the Melanated Business Alliance.

March 8: International Women’s Day
We invite you to highlight the small business owners, professionals, community members, and civic sector leaders who are making a difference in our community.
On March 8 annually, create a post on Instagram with your favorite Lansing standout star to support their career, work, and projects.
Help us celebrate all who make our community a wonderful place to live.

We participate at 517 Day and particularly any open mics hosted at A Novel Concept.
Details: This is an open microphone session, sign up in advance by connecting with A Novel Concept Bookstore in downtown Lansing.
Slots are 5 minutes apiece and can be any kind of spoken, written, or performed piece.
Our Lansing Home participates in the annual 5K Walk/Run/Roll. We also love to watch the Juneteenth parade.

September 15: Hispanic Heritage Month
We celebrate Hispanic and Latinx Heritage with the Lansing Community.
November 4: Fill the TARDIS Pantry
Our Lansing Home supports the TARDIS free pantry (across the street from Strange Matter Eastside, on Michigan Ave.).
We collect canned goods every year to put into the pantry, free for anyone who needs.
